J. C. Hogarth de la PLante

Hogarth began his advertising career in 1975 in the broadcast industry. He then moved on to manage a local small advertising agency. In 1980 he opened his advertising agency and in 1982 he travelled, marketing jingle and TV ad syndication packages in 26 markets from Maine to West Virginia. One year later he joined one of Western New York’s top four advertising agencies, and in 1986 was named Chief Operating Officer of the firms Minneapolis/St. Paul subsidiary. In 1989 he returned to Western New York as Director of Marketing for an international medical equipment manufacturing firm. In 1991 Hogarth launched his second advertising agency, J. C. Hogarth de la Plante & Associates, and in 2000 created an additional company “Legacy Murals” specializing in corporate and consumer historical photo mural collages.
